Options - Fonts and Margins - Set Default Fonts

Use this option to set system-wide default fonts for a printer. Then, whenever a report is sent to that printer it is printed in the default font - except where report-specific fonts have been selected (for more information on report-specific fonts, refer to "Options - Fonts and Margins - Report Font").

You can also use this option to set default fonts for all printers, for print preview, and for reports that are saved as PDF files, Excel spreadsheets and HTML files.

Select REPORTS | REPORT GENERATOR.

Micronet displays the Report Generator screen.

Technical Tip

You can create or load a report if required. However, you can also set system-wide report fonts without a report being loaded.

Select OPTIONS | FONTS AND MARGINS | SET DEFAULT FONTS.

Micronet displays the Add / Edit Default Printer / Fonts screen.

Select the Add button to set a printer / font combination.

Micronet displays the Edit Report Font screen.

Select one of the following buttons depending on the output you are setting the default font for:

Printer - set the default font for a specific printer. Micronet displays the Select Printer screen where you select the printer.
PDF - set the default font for reports saved as PDF files
XLS - set the default font for reports saved as Excel spreadsheets
All Printers - set the default font for all printers
HTML - set the default font for reports saved as HTML files
Preview - set the default font for print previews.

Micronet displays the output type in the first field on the screen.

Select the Font button.

The Font screen is displayed.

Select the default font, style, size and colour that you want reports printed in.
Select the OK button.

Micronet redisplays the Edit Report Font screen showing the font details.

Select the Accept button.

If you selected to add a default font, Micronet redisplays the Edit Report Font screen so you can add default fonts for other outputs.

When you have finished entering default fonts, select the Cancel button.

Micronet redisplays the Add / Edit Default Printer / Fonts screen showing all the outputs and default fonts.

When you have finished maintaining default fonts, select the Ok screen.

Micronet redisplays the Report Generator screen.

Technical Tip

You need to compile all reports for your changes to take effect (refer to "Report Generator - Compile All").
